Starting in late June through July, the Willamette Valley is fragrant with lavender in backyards and commercial farms. In the right proportion, it adds an aromatic layer to summer beverages like our Ginger Lavender Lemonade. To get started, boil a cup of lavender heads in two cups of water for 10 min. Strain the liquid into a pitcher and add two cups of water, one cup of lemon juice, 3/4 cup of sugar, and a cup of Spiritopia Ginger Liqueur. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and chill or pour over ice to serve.
